Michael DeRaffaele


Coach DeRaf didn't start until his junior year in high school, so tell your kids they have plenty of time to fall in love with this sport! Michael played here at Bullard High School and landed on Volleyball Magazine’s “Fab 50” list on his way to SDSU where he played out his collegiate career.There he first picked up the game of beach volleyball as well as coaching the nationally ranked men’s and women’s volleyball club. He has played in CBVA, AVP Next, and the AVP events across the US. He has coached high school volleyball and at Tsunami, VOS, and Ignite volleyball clubs. In 2016 he was the program director for Ignite Beach Volleyball club and brings that experience and passion back to California where he started Elite Beach Volleyball with Coach Maddox. He LOVES to coach and has a passion for teaching his players about life’s lessons through the experiences competitive volleyball creates. He hopes to see you on the sand!

Kit Maddox


It doesn't matter if it is indoor, beach, grass, pool, tennis, or trampoline volleyball; Coach Kit is always excited to play! Kit's background includes: 4 years playing professional volleyball and 10 years of coaching experience. Coach Kit is excited to share the skills he learned playing the game he loves with the next generation!

Kelly Winter


Coach Winter is a three time collegiate All American setter and conference player of the year at Fresno Pacific University. Assistant coach for two national championship teams. More than 20 years of coaching experience at Clovis East, Clovis West, Central Cal, Pacific Premiere Volleyball Academy, and Fresno Pacific University. Inductee in the Fresno Pacific Athletic Hall of Fame.

Sarah McCann


Coach McCann has grown up around the game of volleyball. She played club for Sports City and Pacific Premiere while playing for Lemoore High School for four years. She was then recruited to play indoor at Fresno Pacific University. Coach McCann played there for three years and was introduced to beach volleyball by her aunt, Kim Zuffelato. She fell in love with beach and never looked back. Coach McCann then moved to Santa Barbara to pursue her passion of beach volleyball and to  have every opportunity possible  to play. There she played beach for Santa Barbara City. She is currently playing in CBVA tournaments and plan to finish out her college career playing beach volleyball.
